Venice Biennale 2017 First Impressions and My Favourite Artworks at “Viva Arte Viva”

14. May 2017

Yesterday, the Venice Art Biennale has officially started for the 57th time with this year’s topic “Viva Arte Viva”.

I had the chance to explore the forum during the press previes between May 10th and 12th. As Austrian, my personal highlight were the exclusive interviews with the artists of the Austrian Pavilion Brigtte Kowanz and Erwin Wurm. Let me give you a preview of my favourite artworks of this year’s Biennale di Venezia, such as the installation at the Finnish Pavilion or the Lightroom or the Green Light Workshop by Olafur Eliasson.

I have planned further footage about the Biennale Arte 2017. Please let me know which topics you would like to see covered or if you have any questions.

Thank you for watching and I hope you enjoy this video! Stay tuned for more!

(Unfortunately, it was a bit crowded even though it was meant to be a preview only for members of the press. Therefore, the audio of the interviews is sometimes a bit patchy, but I do hope that you still enjoy the videos with these really interesting videos. Music provided by Youtube Library.)
